At MyMoyo, we believe every child deserves the chance to grow up with a strong, healthy heart — and a future full of promise.

The word “Moyo” means “heart” in several African languages, and for us, it represents far more than just an organ. It symbolizes life, love, resilience, and the core of our mission: to care for children with congenital and acquired heart conditions, especially those who might otherwise go untreated due to poverty, geography, or lack of access.

Heart disease in children is often misunderstood, underdiagnosed, and left untreated in many parts of the world. For families already burdened by limited resources, the cost of diagnosis, treatment, or surgery can be overwhelming — and sadly, too often out of reach.

That’s where MyMoyo steps in.

We work alongside dedicated medical professionals, volunteers, and local partners to identify children in need, provide access to critical heart care, and support families throughout their journey — from diagnosis to recovery. Whether it’s funding life-saving surgery, arranging diagnostic tests, or providing education and emotional support, we are there every step of the way.

But our vision goes beyond individual cases. We are committed to building sustainable solutions by helping to develop and strengthen local heart centres in underserved regions. Through training, infrastructure support, and partnerships, we aim to equip local teams with the tools and expertise they need to provide ongoing, high-quality cardiac care — close to home, and for generations to come.
